Sample Side Dish Menu
Broccoli & Cauliflower – Steamed and buttered with a hollandaise sauce! Cabbage – Cabbage stir-fried with bacon and red pepper flakes and white wine, or boiled. Cauliflower Mash – Delicious substitute for mashed potatoes. Cooked in chicken broth, a must try! Corn – On the cob or off, flavored with butter and spices. Couscous with Anything – Veggies, spices, seasonings, the sky is the limit. Green Beans with Roasted Pine Nuts – Great combination and healthy too! Mashed Potatoes – Can be made with your choice of cheese, sour cream and buttermilk. Onion Roasted Potatoes – Potatoes Roasted with quartered onion, and whole garlic cloves and oil. Orzo Pilaf – Sautéed in butter and then simmered in broth, nice and creamy. Polenta with Green Chili – Awesome compliment with any dish. Rice – White, brown, wild, jasmine, sushi, risotto, pilaf, cooked in broth. Roasted Vegetable – Your choice, root veggies are our favorite in the winter, but the sky is the limit.
